These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") set out the rules for using our website and buying goodies from The Farmer’s Dog Australia ("we", "us", "our"). By visiting our site or placing an order you’re agreeing to these Terms — so please give them a read (we promise to keep it friendly 🐾).
1. About Us
The Farmer’s Dog is an Australian-owned business selling natural, air-dried pet treats through our Shopify store. Everything we sell is made for pets only — sorry humans, these aren't for you!
We are not affiliated with any international versions of The Farmer's Dog.
2. Using Our Website
By using our website, you agree that:
- You’re 18 years or older, or browsing with a parent or guardian’s permission
- You’ll use the site for lawful purposes only
- You won’t copy, misuse, or interfere with our content or website
We reserve the right to refuse service or access to our site if needed — hopefully that never happens.
3. Our Products
We do our best to ensure all product descriptions, images, and information are accurate. That said, because our treats are made from natural ingredients:
- Size, shape, colour, and texture may vary (that’s part of the charm!)
- Information is general in nature and provided as a guide only
- Our treats are complementary snacks, not a complete or balanced meal
Always supervise your pet while enjoying our treats and make sure fresh water is available.
4. Storage
Our air-dried treats like to be kept cool and dry, ideally below 26C.
Do not refrigerate - the humidity makes them taste weird and allows mould and bacteria to grow.
Keep away from direct sunlight, humidity, heat sources and sneaky pups. Your kitchen pantry is ideal.
5. Pet Health & Feeding Disclaimer
Every pet is different (and special). While our treats are made with natural ingredients and gentle air-drying methods:
- We can’t guarantee suitability for pets with allergies, medical conditions, or special dietary needs
- Reactions can vary from pet to pet
If your pet has any health concerns, please chat with your veterinarian before introducing new treats.
To the extent permitted by law, we’re not responsible for adverse reactions.
6. Orders & Acceptance
All orders are subject to availability and acceptance. We may need to cancel or adjust an order if there’s a pricing error, stock issue, or something doesn’t look quite right.
Once you place an order, you’ll receive a confirmation email — this confirms we’ve received it, not that it’s been dispatched just yet.
7. Pricing & Payment
All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD)
Prices include GST unless stated otherwise
Prices may change from time to time
Payment must be completed at checkout using the payment options available on our website.
8. Shipping
We currently ship within Australia only, unless otherwise stated.
Delivery timeframes are estimates and can vary due to things outside our control (like postal delays or public holidays). Once your order is delivered, responsibility for the goods passes to you.
9. Returns & Refunds
Because our products are pet treats:
- We don’t accept returns for change of mind
- If something arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos
Where appropriate, we’ll happily offer a replacement or refund (as per Australian Consumer Law)
10. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and branding — belongs to The Farmer’s Dog. Please don’t copy or use it without our written permission.

Your privacy matters to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
